The Future of Workspaces: From Flexibility to Focus

According to Gensler’s Global Workplace Survey 2025, organizations are moving away from the traditional corporate office model and seeking environments that support collaboration, adaptability, and well-being. Shared workspaces and flex offices are leading that shift — not just as a trend, but as infrastructure for the future of work.

Collaboration as a Core Value

Human interaction remains one of the top reasons employees return to the office. Gensler found that meeting, collaborating, and socializing with colleagues consistently rank among the highest workplace drivers. Unfortunately, outdated office layouts often fail to provide the proper spaces for these types of interactions.

At Woven, collaboration is built into the very fabric of the environment. From dedicated meeting rooms designed for brainstorming and presentations, to open lounge areas that encourage spontaneous interaction, the space reflects how work actually happens. These touchpoints create a rhythm of connection — structured where it needs to be, and open-ended when it matters most.

Flexibility Is the Future

The survey revealed that flexibility is no longer optional — it’s an expectation. Employees want the ability to choose where and how they work depending on their tasks and energy levels. The highest-performing workplaces are those that offer a range of settings tailored for focus, teamwork, or quick recharge moments.

Woven embodies this principle by offering multiple modes of work under one roof: private spaces for deep focus, community areas for networking, and reservable meeting spaces for teams of any size. That way, residents aren’t locked into any one way of working — they can shift seamlessly as their day demands.

At Woven, collaboration is built into the very fabric of the environment. These touchpoints create a rhythm of connection — structured where it needs to be, and open-ended when it matters most.

Addressing Real Challenges

Of course, flexibility alone isn’t enough if the space doesn’t address the pain points employees face daily. Noise and distractions remain one of the biggest frustrations in open environments. Gensler’s research underscores that interruptions — from conversations to foot traffic — are a top productivity killer.

Woven’s design addresses these challenges with acoustically-engineered rooms and booths to offer respite from the buzz, while keeping teams connected to the energy of a shared workplace. It’s a balance of energy and privacy — community vibrance without sacrificing focus.

Future-Ready Design

Together, these trends make one thing clear: the workplace is no longer about a standard format. It’s about creating an ecosystem that supports a spectrum of needs. This is where shared workspaces and flex offices excel — and where Woven serves as a real-world example of what the future of work looks like.

Located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, Woven offers more than just square footage — it’s a living demonstration of how purposeful design can meet shifting expectations and priorities: spaces that enable connection, empower choice, and minimize friction. For solopreneurs, growing teams, or established businesses, it’s not just about adapting to new workplace expectations — it’s about thriving within them.

Why Choose Woven

The message from Gensler’s research is unambiguous—employees are asking for work environments that are collaborative, flexible, and supportive of well-being.

Woven shows how these principles move from theory to practice. It’s not about replacing the office of the past—it’s redefining what the office can be.

We’d love to show you around. Schedule a tour, today.

Welcoming Our Newest Neighbor—Pachi Pachi Opens at 201 South

Downtown Las Vegas thrives on connection, and one of the newest additions to our building embodies that spirit perfectly. Just steps from Woven, Pachi Pachi is more than a restaurant—it’s a cultural and culinary experience. We spoke with Tony Gadachy, owner and partner of Pachi Pachi, to learn more about the flavors and cultural delights they’re bringing to DTLV.

The story starts with the name itself—Pachi Pachi comes from the Pachinko parlors of 1930s Japan, where the distinct sound of metal balls bouncing through machines became synonymous with Japan’s gaming culture. That spirit is carried into the restaurant’s design, featuring a large interactive Pachinko machine that playfully invites guests into the culture the moment they arrive.

The menu is built on foundational Japanese street cuisine—from their Sandos and Ahi Hand Rolls to reimagined Deviled Eggs, each dish is presented in a style unique to the restaurant. The Classic Hokkaido Biru Bomb Burger, bold and brazen, promises to become a fast favorite. And for those who want to keep some surprises in store—there are “secret menu” items waiting to be discovered.

For members of Woven, Pachi Pachi isn’t even a “stone’s throw” away — it’s just outside our front door at 201 South. That means convenience for a quick lunch break, a go-to catering fave for a client meeting, or an inspired wind-down after work.

“We don’t just want to open another bar—we want to create a portal to a place where people don’t just show up to be seen, but to merge.”

Pachi Pachi is the latest example of what makes being part of Woven specialaccess to an inspired community where culture, design, and daily life blend seamlessly. For Residents, it’s another reason why downtown Las Vegas isn’t just where you work, but where you connect.

Resident-First, Always: How to Redefine the Workplace Experience

You can feel it in the details. In the lighting that shifts to match your focus. In the hum of a space that was built to show up for you, not distract from you.

At Woven, we believe work works better when people come first. That’s why we’ve designed our spaces and services around a singular idea: being resident-first. It’s more than just a philosophy—it’s the heartbeat of everything we do.

What Does “Resident-First” Mean?

It means we don’t chase trends, fill seats, or stamp our brand on every wall. We center every decision around the people and companies who make Woven what it is—our residents.

A resident-first approach shows up in the spaces themselves:

  • Our Framery One and 2Q acoustic pods offer effortless privacy when it matters most.
  • Automated lighting and high-end finishes help you shift from heads-down work to client meetings without missing a beat.
  • Craft coffee, stocked pantries, and luxe wellness rooms make your day feel just a little more human.
  • Enterprise-grade tech and reliable, secure Wi-Fi keep your systems running as smoothly as your schedule.

But beyond the amenities, being resident-first is a mindset. One that asks, What would make this easier? Smarter? Better?—and then builds from there.

The Woven Difference—In Practice

Being resident-first means our brand stays in the background—quietly supporting yours.

We don’t believe in overwhelming you with logos or slogans. Instead, we’ve created a space that supports deep focus, spontaneous collaboration, and moments of surprise and delight.

Our team is here to anticipate your needs, not interrupt your day. Whether you’re hosting a partner from out of town or settling in for a marathon strategy session, Woven was designed to feel less like an office—and more like an advantage.

“Resident-first means we obsess over every detail so our members don’t have to. We’ve designed Woven to support the brands that call this place home—without ever getting in their way. From the automated lighting to the way our shared areas flow, every element is here to help you do your best work. And we focus just as much on hospitality as we do on enabling you with the tools you need to thrive.”

Why It Matters (And Why It’s Rare)

Most coworking brands are built around one thing: occupancy.

How many people can fit in a room? How efficiently can we monetize the square footage?

At Woven, we’ve chosen a different path.

We’re not here to scale chaos or sell square feet. We’ve built Woven to be a quiet, intentional contrast to the overstimulating, efficiency-first norm. Compared to WeWork’s churn-and-burn model or Kiln’s sensory overload, our spaces are calm, refined, and considered—so you can stay focused on what really matters.

And our support doesn’t stop at the front door. When your business is ready for the next chapter, our team is right there with you—helping design, furnish, and even customize your next space beyond Woven.

Experience the Resident-First Difference

You don’t need a space that works for you. You need one that works with you.

Where flexibility meets intention. Where hospitality meets design, so you always come first.
